Daisy's Page

My name is Daisy.  After a very long journey from MO, I finally got here on 7/13/2008.

I was very nervous at first meeting all the other dogs.  I was used to being an only dog with a loving family.

I said goodbye to the nice lady who drove me here.  She said she's brought other dogs here before and is very nice place.  I liked her.

I found a safe place away from other dogs and rested from my long trip.

I dream of my old family and know they did the best thing they could for me.

They call me a bagel-part basset & part beagle.  I was only 8 years old when my family had to give me up, but no one in MO wanted me.

I don't know why.  I'm very cute and loving girl.

There's lots of good huntin' places here.

If we could only get over that fence I know I'd catch me a deer.  My tall friend, Jeeps, helps.

In between hunts, I chill on the front porch.

I've gotten pretty used to all my new brothers & sisters.

But sometimes they're a pain in the petutie, like when they're blocking my way.  Move it, lard butt!

I try to be helpful around the house, like washing dishes.

Although mom accuses me of stealing the silverware.

But how could she...

be mad at...

somebody cute as ME???

I have very busy days here - playing with the toys...

I win!

Done with that toy, now I want this one.

Busy, busy, busy...

Doing dishes again...

Porch safety inspection.

Sometimes I wear a uniform

Hey, where's my boots?

But you said I could wear boots!

At Christmas I dressed up to help Santa.

'Scuze me a minute...

Then there's all the work I do on the computer.

It's a tough life, but I'm handling it.
