Franklin and his bonded friend, Honey, came to HOP on 12/21/2014 from Calhoun County Animal Society in AL. Their owner dropped them at the shelter when they decided to move. Franklin is 11.

Franklin is the clown of the bunch. He loves to play and he is so excited about everything. His job is to wash faces. He is always cleaning the faces of the other hounds and they love it. He is very affectionate and always rolls over for belly rubs when I stop to give him some attention. I'm not really sure if there is any basset in Franklin, he looks more like some sort of hearding dog. But he's got short legs & floppy ears, so he thinks he fits in just fine.
