In Memory of Lady Pam, at the Rainbow Bridge:
September 24, 2012

Sweet Lady Pam was not with me long.  She cam to HOP Septermer 7, 2012, from Belly Rubs Basset Rescue when she lost her foster home and they had no place else to put her.  About 10 days after she came to live at HOP, she was with diagnosed with Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC), which is a bleeding problem.  With her body already weakened from having had heartworms, she passed away a week later.

Lady Pam was a wonderful old girl and a delight to have here.  She got along well with the other hounds and spent much of her time trying out all the beds in the house.  I don't think there was one she didn't like. I only wish should could have been here longer.  I sure miss this lovely lady.
